Trevor Hunt received his long awaited Mission call on Wednesday Oct. 24th. He will serve in the California San Francisco mission and will enter the MTC on Wednesday December 19th. He will be in the MTC with at least 3 of his friends which will make it a fun experience. He will serve just across the bay from where his brother Bryson served his mission. Trevor is excited about this special event in his life and everyone is happy for him.

BRACKEN FAMILY
The McOmie Home
The McOmies
The McOmie family in front of the beautiful red foliage by their home. Their new home is spacious inside and already beautifully decorated. Their yard is huge and has a lot of opportunity for imagination and hard work. It was fun to visit with them over the weekend. Trip to Oregon
SO WHAT'S WITH THE ARM SLING?
I have developed a variety of good explanations depending on the mood and the moment. The most common reply sounds something like: "if you were a Utah ATV safety instructor, would you really tell anyone what happened?" The reality is I did have an unplanned and unexpected experience on an ATV while riding at Sand Lake Beach near Tillamook Oregon. After some agressive and high speed riding on the sand, the adventure led to some thick trees and undergrowth just minutes after this photo. The mishap occurred at the end of a narrow dead end trail while turning around in a tight spot and after hitting a large tree root. Fortunately I was thrown clear of the upended 4 wheeler but the impact caused some injury to my left sholder. After X-Rays and an extended wait at Tuality ER , it was determined that nothing was broken but my pride was severely bruised. It continues to be painful but recovery is slowly coming.
